A few weeks ago the ever awesome ASOS asked me to participate in their new State of Fashion competition. The name of the game is to show how each state rocks winter fashion and you can win a wonderful $1000 ASOS wardrobe by uploading your own look, so jump onto the site and vote for my outfit (or any of the South Australian darlings) then show me how you bring the winter style! 

South Australia is a very relaxed place, even our weather is laid back, just the other week it reached 31 degrees during the middle of autumn. But despite the warmer(ish) weather, my winter necessity is a rad beanie, be it boyfriend or panda style I need a beanie to keep my head happy. Little luxuries from The Little Boutique

Rainy days spent snug as a bug in a warm knit. Bliss. Writing at my desk with a beautiful scented candle flickering. Double bliss. I recently had a retail therapy session at one of my all time favourite stores 'The Little Boutique' and now I can't decide what I'm in love with more, my glasshouse candles (the delicious scents remind me of summer) or my new Viktoria + Woods 'Lexus Patch' sweater. I think the sweater might be winning, it's so wonderfully warm and comfortable to wear. I rarely shop 'in store' any more as online tends to be cheaper and so much easier for time restricted ladies like myself. But sometimes you just have to step away from the keyboard and take the time to browse through a boutique filled with gorgeous clothes and scented candles. Its good for the soul.

I don’t often post anything instagram related on my blog but considering I’m currently holed up in a hotel somewhere in western Sydney without my trusty camera, I thought I’d just show a couple of recent highlights from my instylife. And apologise for my absence, I’m away for work until the end of this week so this will be my only post this week. Sorry friends! I promise I’ll be back with vengeance very soon...

Fluffy knits and vintage jeans

Running errands today in quite possibly the comfiest outfit ever. A warm fluffy, cuddly knit and a pair of vintage jeans (if you look closely there is white lace on the hips). Summer will be missed but I freaking love winter fashions, I have two drawers dedicated to knits only and I'm more than sure that this collection will be growing over the next couple of weeks as the temperatures drops. For even when you don't feel 100% or your having a horrendous hair day (see above for limp locks), knits are like a big warm hug from grandma, especially this one with it's pretty pastel threads :)
